Grant scheme: Development of Intercultural Dialogue 2010
Project is implemented by Polish Society “Rodacy” in cooperation with Polish primary in Jēkabpils and Agency of Development “Pieci”
Project aim: to encourage ethnic integration by organazing cooperation between students of various nationalities, it makes development of intercultural dialogue at an early age.
Target group Polish nationality students (100), students of other nationalities (300)
Project location : City Jēkabpils
Main activities: contest about traditions, folk, culture, religion and history of Poland, interactive events for students, (3) publishing of informative material – a calendar (500)
Results of the project:
1. Provide information on traditions, folk, culture, religion and history of Poland;
2. Build cooperation and understanding of different nationalities pupils;
3. Actualized ethnic integration and intercultural dialogue importance in society.
The project is being implemented by the Ministry of Justice and the Society Integration Foundation financial support.

Project aim: to promote active lifestyle, to promote young people with different nationalities integration into society, help to build friendly contacts reciprocally, explain what it is: being patriots of their own land, to acquaint young people with new opportunities of actively relaxation in our region and to spend time usefully
Main activities: cycling tours and excursions
Audience: Polish, Russian and Latvian (gymnasiums) school students, total: of 27 people from 10 to 15 year olds
